Cambodia Water and Sanitation on a big screen
My name is dr. Kaing sophal I am a health programe coordinator, working for ACTED PSF today I lead the team to come here to educate villagers on hygiene and water sanitation in prek tatun village in the preah prosab commune, khsach kandal district we have educated them how to wash their hands with soap in order for them to stay healthy now I am starting to show you how to wash your hands.
First we have to wet our hands if you have a watch you have to take it of take some fresh water... ...Now dry your hands with a clean towel today I learned about how to wash my hands and my children's hands I also received a poster with information on hygiene who didn't recieve the aqua tab yet? so all of you didn't get the aqua tab yet...
My team worker told me that this village didn't get yet the tablets so I will give them to you now. I will give all of you present here after I give you, I will interview you about what I taught you to know if you understand and if you know how to use the aqua tab yourself. Wash your hands, wash your hands we don't forget to clean our body when we are going to sleep and before we eat clean your body before you go to school my name is ms. Keum sambath, I live in vi hear su or commune today we received ACTED-PSF that came to clean the wells in my village in order to clean the water in the well, we have to put chlorine in the well after 24 hours we can use the well again but before using the well again we need to pump out the water until the smell of chlorine disappears then we can use the well again wait 24 h to let the chlorine kill the bacteria in the well, and then pump it out.
Im happy to receive the chlorination because it will clean my well before I never knew my well is full of bacteria and I used the well anyway I would like to say thank you to the organisation that have came here to develop water and hygiene sanitation in my village. I would like the organisation to continue working and developing my community I am grateful to your organization
